Which Airline At London Heathrow Airport Is Your Favorite?

Several airlines have major operations at London Heathrow Airport (LHR), the largest airport in the United Kingdom and the most important hub for travel to and from the British capital. With just two runways, the airport operates near capacity and punches far above its weight in terms of passenger numbers. The principal carriers at the facility include Virgin Atlantic and British Airways, both network carriers that use London as a principal base to feed traffic across their global connecting networks. Both the SkyTeam and Oneworld Alliances have a major presence at the facility, which serves as a gateway for travel to Europe for many. But what do you think? Which airline at London Heathrow Airport is your favorite?

Should Digital Boarding Passes Become Mandatory?

Yesterday, Ryanair became the first airline to make digital boarding passes mandatory. Passengers can no longer download and print a physical paper boarding pass, and must instead use the digital boarding pass generated in their “myRyanair” app during check-in. The airline says that almost 80% of its 200 million+ passengers already use digital boarding passes regularly, so the move is really about converting over the remaining 20%. It is not the only airline going down this route, as Riyadh Air also plans to launch with a digital-only approach. And once other airlines have had a chance to review how successful Ryanair has (or hasn't) been with its digital push, we can likely expect many more to put an end to paper boarding passes.  The advantages of digital boarding passes are convenience, reduced costs, and, of course, the environmental benefits of reducing paper consumption. But just like some people still prefer paper books over using a Kindle, some passengers are reluctant to con

Will We Ever See A True Replacement For The Boeing 757-300?

With the A321XLR conquering routes formerly served by the 757-200, this begs the question as to whether we will ever see a 757-300 replacement. One option could be to stretch the A321 even further, but the 757 is both taller and longer in its 757-200 variant than the A321. Meanwhile, the 737 has already been stretched far enough with the MAX 10, whose certification remains incomplete. So, what do you think? Will the gap left by the 757-300 be filled by Boeing's proposed 737 replacement, or will its role be devoted to widebodies? Have you ever flown on a 757-300, and, if so, where, when, and with which airline(s)? Share your thoughts and experiences in the comments! This is user-generated content. What Is Your Favorite Airline At JFK?

John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) in New York City is not only the largest and most important airport serving the New York Area, but it is also one of the world's largest and most important air travel facilities. A hub for multiple major connecting carriers, including Delta Air Lines, American Airlines, and JetBlue, services operate from the airport to destinations across the globe. Legacy operators of these networks require massive passenger volume to operate hubs at scale, and to compete for passengers, airlines look to entice passengers with exceptional travel experiences through their hubs. With this in mind, which of the major carriers that operate at JFK is your favorite?

Emirates Clark Conspiracy
Tim Clark: Other Airlines Rejected The Airbus A380 To Weaken Emirates

Tim Clark, who has served as the President of the Middle Eastern airline since 2003, claims that other carriers have used Emirates' reliance on the A380 as a weapon against it. Specifically, Clark, via a podcast, alleges that US airlines and the Star Alliance effectively sabotaged the A380 by not buying it. The goal: To force Airbus to cease production of the type and thus weaken Emirates. Quite the allegation!
