Eligible Air France passengers flying out of London Heathrow Airport now have access to its award-winning Club Aspire Lounge at Terminal 3. From seasonal hot food and snacks, a selection of wines and other alcoholic beverages to shower facilities, the lounge offers plenty of amenities.
Air France passengers get lounge access
As of June 27th, eligible Air France and KLM customers departing from London Heathrow have access to the award-winning Club Aspire Lounge in T3. The service is available to all La Première passengers, Business Class passengers, Flying Blue Club 2000 / Club 2000 Skipper, Platinum and Gold members, and SkyTeam Elite Plus passengers.
Barring Business Class passengers, all others are entitled to bring one guest to the lounge for free. The lounge has received good reviews and accolades, including being voted Europe’s Leading Airport Lounge at the 2021 World Travel Awards.
Things to know
While being a premium passenger grants access to Club Aspire, it isn’t an exclusive invitation-only lounge. Passengers on any carrier and in any fare class can book entry in advance on the lounge's website for £34.49. With the busy summer months around the corner, it is advisable to pre-book the visit to ensure access.
Priority Pass and Dragon Pass members are also welcome, but their entry is subject to availability on the day.
The lounge is open daily from 07:00 to 18:00 and is located in Terminal 3 Airside - next to Gate 9. After security, passengers should follow signs to Gate 1-42 and for ‘All Airline Lounges.’ The lounge is signposted as ‘Lounge D’ and is on the right-hand side.
Each booking allows the passenger to stay a maximum of 3 hours. If you are on a connecting flight and wish to use the lounge for longer, you can make bookings that follow on from each other, each for three hours.
Amenities
As expected, T3’s Club Aspire Lounge comes with all the bells and whistles one would expect from a lounge at a busy airport. Guests can expect a buffet-style food service with choices that includes cold dishes such as yogurt and fruit salad to cereals and baked goodies to hot dishes including smoked streaky bacon, rosti potatoes, and much more.
It also offers a Business Zone for business travelers who need a separate space to work on the go. All guests are also offered unlimited WiFi as well as complimentary digital newspapers and magazines. The lounge also provides shower rooms, toilet facilities, and baby changing facilities. However, the use of the shower facilities is charged at an additional cost of £15 for 30 minutes, including towels and toiletries.
