New Caledonia's international airline, Aircalin, has unveiled the cabin of its new Airbus A330neo aircraft. Presently, the airline is awaiting the delivery of two A330neos. The first of these is scheduled to be delivered in June and expected to enter service for Aircalin in July of this year.

At this time, Aircalin operates a fleet of four aircraft; two Airbus A320-200 and two Airbus A330-200. Indeed, the airline offers flights to a variety of international destinations from its hub in Nouméa, New Caledonia. Destinations include Auckland, Brisbane, Futuna, Melbourne, Nadi, Osaka, Papeete, Port-Vila, Sydney, Tokyo, and Wallis.

Air Journal has released photos of Aircalin's Airbus A330neo's cabin. Let's take a look inside the cabin of Aircalin's brand-new aircraft.

First of all, Aircalin's Airbus A330neo will provide 21 seats in Business Hibiscus Class, arranged in a 1-2-1 configuration. The seats will feature fully lie-flat beds and 49 to 50 inches of space between seats. Furthermore, there will be retractable dividers, touch screens, adjustable reading lamps, as well as charging ports and noise-canceling headphones.

Additionally, there will be 26 seats in Premium Economy Class in a 2-3-2 configuration. The spacing between the seats will be 38 inches. In addition to footrests and adjustable headrests, these seats will feature wide armrests, touch screens, and charging ports.

Finally, we have 244 seats in Economy Class. These seats will be arranged in a 2-4-2 configuration and have a spacing of 31 inches between seats.

Like the Premium Economy Class seats, the Economy Class seats will also feature adjustable headrests and charging ports.

Of course, Aircalin's Airbus A330neo will offer Wifi service. Furthermore, the aircraft are equipped with Zodiac's RAVE inflight entertainment system.

According to Routesonline, Aircalin's Airbus A330-900 aircraft will initially serve the following destinations from Nouméa, New Caledonia:

  • Tokyo Narita (starting 7/23/19)
  • Sydney (starting 8/9/19)
  • Osaka Kansai (starting 9/2/19)
  • Brisbane (9/6/19 - 9/15/19)
  • Melbourne (one-off service on 9/9/19)
  • Papeete (starting 9/17/19)
