Route expansion

Allegiant Air aims to connect travelers in small-to-medium cities to some of the most popular leisure markets. As such, the airline strives to offer year-round nonstop flights with industry-low average fares. Introductory fares are offered to gain passenger traction on the new routes. The senior vice president and chief revenue officer of Allegiant, Drew Wells, stated,

“We continue to see historically high demand from leisure travelers, so we are thrilled to add these routes to our network and build on the success we’ve had in these markets. As travelers make their summer vacation plans, we know they will appreciate the low-cost, nonstop options offered by Allegiant.”

The carrier revealed that the new non-stop routes would operate twice-weekly. The introductory low fares are limited and not available on all flights. Moreover, flights must be purchased by February 21 for travel by November 13. While the prices include taxes, carrier charges, and government fees, additional baggage charges and restrictions may apply.
