American Airlines has up to 26 daily flights to London Heathrow in summer 2023 (S23). According to OAG data, its previous best was 23 daily, held last summer. The increase is primarily from growing Los Angeles-Heathrow and Charlotte-Heathrow to a maximum of 3 daily apiece and the return of Seattle. It contributes to oneworld having about a 54% share of all Heathrow-US flights, helpful given Virgin is joining SkyTeam and strengthening that alliance's presence.

American to Heathrow

As of January 20th and subject to change, American has 11 routes to the UK's busiest airport. They are summarized as follows by maximum daily departures. All frequencies are the same as in S22 except Los Angeles (3 daily from 2), Charlotte (3 from 2), and the reintroduction of Seattle. American started Seattle to Heathrow in March 2021. It operated until the following March before reappearing at the end of October 2022. It didn't run in S22.
