American Airlines' A321neo

American Airlines' A321neo offers seating for 196 passengers. More specifically, there are 129 seats in the Main Cabin, 47 extra-legroom Main Cabin Extra seats, and 20 First-Class seats. According to American Airlines, the aircraft provides "customers a fully connected onboard experience." As a matter of fact, it features high-speed Wi-Fi, charging ports at every seat, and free live TV and wireless entertainment. Passengers can stream live TV and wireless entertainment to their own devices, and there are built-in seatback holders for tablets and phones so passengers do not have to hold their devices while enjoying the entertainment options. The aircraft also features Airspace XL overhead luggage bins. These overhead luggage bins are huge and can hold 65 percent more luggage than the bins on American Airlines' older A321 aircraft. Indeed, the bins can hold luggage as big as 24" x 16" x 10". This means that passengers will be able to put their roll-on bags on their side, and, as a result, more luggage will fit in the bins so less will have to be checked at the gate. This is great news for passengers. American Airlines A321neo XL Storage Bins As we can see in the picture above, the A321neos also feature LED mood lighting. American Airlines' A321neo aircraft are fuel-efficient and ETOPS-certified for extended flights over water. Janelle Anderson, American Airlines' VP of Marketing, stated that the A321neo's inaugural flight was "a culmination of years of planning and work to make sure this plane is a good fit for everyone onboard, and we think customers and team members are going to love it.”
