Omar is an aviation enthusiast with a Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering. This trainee pilot has numerous years of technical and research experience in low-speed aerodynamics, aircraft design, and flight performance & controls. As a power plant engineer with a renowned MRO, Omar continues to make a difference in the aviation industry. Besides work, Omar is passionate about traveling, visiting aviation sites, and plane spotting.
What is your favourite aircraft and why?
The mighty Airbus A380. The size of the A380 has amazed Omar ever since Airbus revealed it. He has spent countless days outside London Heathrow, LAX, and JFK airports, spotting the giant of the skies.
Why do you love aviation?
From a very early age, Omar was passionate about aircraft, airports, and the aviation lingo. As a young boy, he could differentiate between commercial airliners just by looking up in the air.
What is your industry focus?
Omar focuses on aircraft and engine MRO practices, design, aerodynamics, and flight controls. He aims to bring research-based aviation content to the readers.
