British Airways has confirmed the dates of its Airbus A350 training flight to Madrid. Following its inaugural flight on the 5th of August, the Airbus A350 will fly to Madrid most days.

British Airways took delivery of its first Airbus A350, G-XWBA, on Saturday. As the aircraft's delivery had been delayed, the airline revealed it to the world on Monday. The aircraft is truly stunning, and if you haven't had a chance to check it out yet, be sure to see our photos from the aircraft's delivery!

First flight on Monday

The first British Airways Airbus A350-1000 flight with passengers will take place in just three days time on the 5th of August. The flight will be a flight unlike any other. In fact, the business class cabin has been blocked out for members of the media and VIPs.

While tickets were available in the economy cabin of the flight, it looks as though those have now sold out. Searching for flights from London to Madrid on the 5th doesn't bring up any results for BA460. However, the seat map of the flight on expert flyer shows that the flight is being operated by an Airbus A350.

Club World Suites

The flights to Madrid will provide passengers with the opportunity to experience BA's new Club Suites without committing to a long-haul flight. The new Club Suite is the first time that British Airways has seriously refreshed its business class offering in 13 years.

In fact, experiencing the new Club World suite is now on many frequent flyers' travel bucket lists. Simple Flying was fortunate enough to experience the new seats on the ground on Monday. Featuring a closing door, the seats will become completely enclosed suites offering a high level of privacy.
