CLEAR has launched a new pilot program at Denver International Airport, allowing passengers to pre-book checked luggage before arriving in DEN at two Baggage Airline Guest Services (Bags) locations.

Launching new partnership and program

CLEAR is an identity program designed to make everyday experiences easier and is available worldwide in airports, stadiums, and mobile devices. At airports in the United States, CLEAR facilitates the process of going through security before boarding. CLEAR members can cut to the front of either the regular security line or the TSA PreCheck line.

CLEAR has worked with Bags in Denver to create a new pilot program for passengers checking baggage on flights departing from Denver International Airport. Bags has a free bag check program at two locations in Denver, available for any passenger that would like to take advantage of it. On 75th Avenue near the Pikes Peak Shuttle Lot and the Transit Center near the RTD A-line, passengers can check their bags and get their boarding passes for free.

Passengers can pre-book checked bags on the Bags website through the pilot program in partnership with CLEAR. If passengers pre-book, boarding passes and bag tags will be printed and ready for them on arrival at either of the two locations, and CLEAR members will have a priority bag check lane. The program launches today and will last for three months during a peak winter holiday travel season.

"DEN is continuing to explore innovative ways to improve the passenger experience, and we're excited to pilot this enhanced bag-check service in partnership with CLEAR and bags. We hope this will encourage even more passengers to use our free bag check program and have a smooth airport experience." - Phil Washington, Chief Executive Officer, Denver International Airport

Bags President Bob Miles added,

"DEN shares our commitment to delivering an outstanding passenger experience, and the airport has been an important partner of ours since 2010. This pilot builds on CLEAR's mission to create a frictionless experience from home to gate, and we're excited to partner with Bags to offer this new service to our members during their holiday travels."
