Once in Mexico, the final hop to Veracruz is on board an Aeromexico E190. The onboard product here is nothing to write home about, but with 36 inches of pitch and a 19-inch wide seat that offers generous recline, it’s more than enough for the short trip to VER. The return flight is on August 30th, giving passengers a full two weeks to enjoy the sights and sounds of Veracruz.

There’s plenty to do, from the historical San Juan de Ulua to the fun of the Acuario de Veracruz. If you’re hankering for some beach time, the Costa Esmerelda is a hidden gem, while the expansive dunes of Chachalacas Beach offer something a bit different. Head out on a tour to the archaeological ruins of El Tajin or the 13th-century city of Papantla for some fun excursions.

Delta’s Boeing 767 sports a good business class product. If you’re lucky and get one of the refreshed Boeing 767-400s, you’ll be in its newest business class product – Delta One. This is an exceptional seat, with exemplary levels of privacy and acres of storage. The 763s are a bit more tired, but still offer decent levels of comfort and a good lie flat solution.

The tiny island of San Andrés might belong to Colombia, but it has the atmosphere of a Caribbean island. Expansive white sand beaches butt up against crystal clear waters teeming with tropical fish. It’s a bit off the beaten track, so you can expect to find a quiet spot on the beach all year round. Absolute bliss.

The city of Santiago is a stunning place to spend time, with many museums and cultural sites to expand your understanding of the country and its people. A visit to the Central Market will give visitors the opportunity to taste some of the local products and experience Chilean cuisine. Getting out and about, you won’t want to miss the stunning views from San Cristobal hill, and if you enjoy the nightlife, head to Barrio Bellavista for fun after dark.
