Today, Delta unveiled its new SkyClub in Kansas City's new $1.5 billion terminal, which is set to open on Tuesday. The new terminal was planned to cater to everyone and includes a meditation room, multi-sensory room, and airplane simulation room. Delta made sure to get its share of space while the terminal was in the planning and construction stages and is the only airline to have a lounge space in the new terminal at MCI.

In its statement, Delta credited its opportunity to build a new lounge to the airport's planning and its relationship with the "City of Fountains." The new SkyClub in Kansas City is the first of eight planned openings in 2023. At 11,200 square feet, the club boasts a premium bar, a full buffet, a curated art program featuring regional artists, and bathrooms stocked with premium Grown Alchemist products.

Two features of the new lounge are particularly exciting, especially for avgeeks. Delta has built two SkyDecks with incredible airport views that can be used in all weather circumstances.
