According to data from Cirium, Delta Air Lines will resume its flights from Atlanta to Cozumel on November 5th. The route was cut because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

From Georgia to an eastern Mexican island

The last time a Delta Air Lines aircraft touched down in Cozumel for a scheduled flight was on March 30th, 2020. When the pandemic hit and paralyzed the aviation industry, airlines were forced to cut routes and park aircraft. Though the industry has seen a significant return in demand, it has taken years for some routes to resume, like Delta's flights to the island of Cozumel.
