Emirates had temporarily implemented festive food offerings across its aircraft and airport lounges to celebrate Ramadan. This implementation was estimated to last only during Ramadan, but it looks like Emirates will be extending it even further for passengers to celebrate Easter.

Easter onboard Emirates

The Dubai-based carrier will be rolling out a unique Easter Menu in addition to the regionally-inspired cuisine served on all flights. It will be made available in all cabin classes from April 16th to April 18th for passengers traveling from Dubai to Australia, Brazil, Canada, Europe, the Philippines, and South Africa.

Additionally, Emirates will also allow passengers to observe Orthodox Easter with special menus for passengers traveling on flights from Dubai to Cyprus and Greece from April 23rd till April 25th.

The Easter Menu will feature the airline's signature hot cross buns or raisin brioche for breakfast on selected sectors. Passengers in premium classes will be able to choose from unique desserts such as Easter egg cakes, and children will be surprised with desserts featuring an Easter egg in all cabin classes.

An extra special Easter

Besides the extra specials onboard, passengers traveling with Emirates can enjoy the Easter specials in six of the airline's lounges at Dubai International Airport and most of the airline's dedicated Emirates lounges worldwide.

In Dubai, passengers entitled to the Emirates First Class Lounges will be able to try out a rich chocolate tart or Easter chocolate cheesecake. And Business Class Lounge passengers can enjoy the traditional Easter carrot cake and chocolate brownie with caramel sauce.

As for Emirates Lounges in other international airports, entitled passengers will get the chance to savor the Easter menus with the addition of various local highlights such as Roman lamb chops in the Emirates Rome Lounge, traditional South African pickled fish in the Emirates Cape Town Lounge and the sweet yeast bread in the Emirates Hamburg Lounge.

Going the extra mile

Food is not all that Emirates will be offering to help passengers celebrate Easter. The airline is offering some 5,000 channels of on-demand entertainment for everyone to enjoy - including more than 1,500 movies from around the world, and over 100 kids and family channels.

Families traveling with young children need not worry about finding ways to keep their little ones entertained. Emirates has added a great variety of hit titles such as Spider-Man: No Way Home, Encanto, and Sing 2. The additions also include several kids' channels with popular shows from CBeebies and Cartoon Network.

And fret not about not being to remain entertained in other ways, as passengers will still be able to create their music, movies, and television playlist on the Emirates app ahead of their flights and sync it to their seats once they've boarded.

For the passengers

Other than Ramadan and Easter, the Gulf carrier has also offered services for the Diwali festival by implementing specially curated on-board festive treats and celebrating the Lunar New Year with unique festive goodies.

During the Christmas holiday season, Emirates indulged in the festive spirit with mouth-watering Christmas menus, festive movies, and even festive music on most flights.

It is always interesting to see the array of special menus that Emirates offers for several festivals throughout the year, as part of the airline's commitment to impress passengers with unique and seasonal experiences that reflect on its global clientele and footprint.
