Cheap fares available

Jetstar Asia is offering a network-wide sale between February 14th to February 25th, which includes the four new VTL routes.

Sale prices start at:

  • Phuket - SGD49 ($36)
  • Clark - SGD109 ($80)
  • Manila - SGD135 ($100)
  • Perth - SGD179 ($132)

Travel periods eligible under the sale will vary for each route. Passengers booking a flight through jetstar.com before April 30th, 2022, for travel before August 31st, 2023, will receive one ‘fee free’ date change as part of Jetstar’s Fly Flexible policy.

Singapore expands VTL

As per Singapore's travel rules, only fully-vaccinated travelers are permitted on VTL flights (exemptions for 12 years and under). Passengers must also conform to VTL regulations, including receiving a WHO EUL-approved jab at least 14 days before travel.

Pasupathi added,

"With the introduction of more VTLs, combined with gradual relaxing of quarantine measures for vaccinated travelers and the transition from PCR tests to the less costly ARTs, consumer confidence is improving, and international trips are once again back on people’s radar."

Singapore’s Ministry of Health announced changes to VTL entry requirements starting from 23.59 (SGT) on February 21st, 2022. This includes progressively increasing VTL quotas for each airline and allowing VTL flights from Hong Kong, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the UAE.
