A quick move by 43-year-old, Burshawn Quildon, led to a 15-mile bus chase across three New York City boroughs before police apprehended the offender. The bus was left running in lot 12 at New York John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) just before 02:00 on Wednesday.

A quick-acting airport employee saw the event and quickly followed while calling the police. Quildon is now charged with grand theft of an auto and criminal possession of the stolen property.

Texas authorities have detained a student who attended Central Catholic High School in Pittsburgh after making a hoax bomb threat aimed at American Airlines AA2051 from El Paso International Airport (ELP) to Chicago O'Hare International Airport (ORD) on Friday, February 17th.

American Airlines AA2051 was due to depart from El Paso International Airport (ELP) at 11:52, arriving at Chicago O'Hare International Airport at 15:54. Instead, the aircraft finally left Texas at 17:19, arriving safely in Chicago two hours and 23 minutes later at 20:42.

Passengers with Apple devices received the threat message via the Airdrop feature, with the message stating: “I have a bomb would like to share a photo.” The school has since released a statement that the detained student and his fellow classmates were on a school-sponsored mission trip near the Texas-Mexico border in El Paso, TX. The group of students was in the process of returning home from the trip when the incident occurred.

After the culprit was detained, a search ensued where the phone was seized as the evidence supported the suspect’s confession. The suspect later confessed to sending out a threat to fellow passengers.
