Air Canada & Saab To Become Heart Aerospace Shareholders

A few days after unveiling a significant design update to its first electric aircraft and obtaining confirmed orders from one of North America's largest airlines, Air Canada, Heart Aerospace announced the Canadian flag carrier and Saab as its two newest minority shareholders. Each party contributed a $5 million investment.

Seattle-Tacoma Becomes The Latest Airport To Face Extensive Security Queues

In what seems to have become an increasingly frequent phenomenon at airports around the world in recent months, the queue for security at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA) snaked into the car park this week. There were several contributing factors, which resulted in reported waits of more than two hours.

Delta Air Lines Tests Dual Jetbridge Boarding In Cincinnati

It is well known that airlines want their planes to be in the air as much as possible, as that's when they make their money. Much of this depends on operational efficiencies on the ground to get them ready for their flights. Delta Air Lines is now testing a two-gate approach to board passengers onto its planes to see if this has the potential to save time and money in the long term. You can learn more here.

Review: A Connecting European Itinerary In KLM Cityhopper's Economy Comfort Seats

Bremen (BRE) in northern Germany and Norwich (NWI) in the UK's East Anglia region are two airports where passengers rely heavily on KLM Cityhopper services to Amsterdam (AMS) to enable longer onward connections. However, despite both having multiple flights a day to and from AMS, traffic between the two is limited. Simple Flying recently flew this route in the Dutch carrier's Economy Comfort seats.

Denver Receives Guinness World Record Title For The World's Largest Airport Therapy Animal Program

Denver International Airport has just received the Guinness World Record for having the world's largest airport animal therapy program. DEN has become famous for its large team of therapy animals. The animals and their handlers comprise the airport's Canine Airport Therapy Squad (CATS). You can find out more about it here.
