TAP Air Portugal reopened its Premium Lounge at Lisbon's Humberto Delgado Airport (LIS) on December 18th, with a renovation that hopes to provide passengers with a refreshed, comfortable and relaxing environment in the new 850m2 (9150 sq ft) space.
The latest renovation of the lounge ensures that 320 passengers can kick back and relax in expanded seating areas with a range of plants and open spaces with fresh, inviting colors. Investment by TAP is yet another step in the rejuvenation of the airline, which is focused on improving the customer's experience.
Access to the lounge is available for TAP's Miles&Go Gold and Star Alliance Gold members plus passengers flying in business class on Star Alliance-operated flights.

Portuguese flair on offer
Passengers passing through the lounge will enjoy a range of hot and cold dishes with Portuguese flair. As expected, the lounge will cater to all dietary requirements with a selection of gluten-free, lactose-free, vegetarian, and vegan options. Hot dishes are now also back on the menu after a short break during the renovation.
TAP continues to be the bridge to Brazil
TAP Air Portugal has by far the most connections to Brazil from Europe, restoring its full pre-pandemic route map to the South American country by April this year.
Connecting Europe to Brazil, TAP operates to 11 cities from Lisbon, flying to São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Belém, Belo Horizonte, Brasília, Fortaleza, Natal, Maceió, Porto Alegre, Recife, and Salvador. The airline also connects Porto's Francisco Sá Carneiro Airport (OPO) with São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro. Over the European summer season, TAP Air Portugal carried half a million passengers between Brazil and Portugal, which counts for 97% of all passengers between Brazil and Europe.
The airline operates these routes using its range of Airbus A321neo, A330-200, and A330-900 aircraft.
