The Unknown Trick To Get Super Cheap Jetstar Flights

This article might start out sounding like a total click bait waste of time but stay with me here. Did you know there is a fantastic way that you can get super cheap Jetstar flights?

And it’s all to do with Jetstar’s 10% off price beat guarantee.

How do you use it?

The way that the ‘Price Beat Guarantee’ works is that Jetstar will beat any competitors price and even their own price listed on a cheaper site by 10%.

Now there are certain conditions, one being it has to be for a flight on the same route and leave within one hour of each other.

At first, that sounds pretty obscure, but then remember the Melbourne to Sydney route has planes leaving every 20 minutes. That means you could save on the domestic flights on the eastern corridor of Australia every time.

Another condition that is slightly more difficult is that the ‘Price Beat Guarantee’ application needs to be made seven days before the flight and if that is not too much forward planning, you have to call them directly.

For example

Tiger Airways flight leaves at 5 PM, on Friday, Sydney to Melbourne, for $100
A Jetstar flight leaves at 5:50 PM, on Friday, Sydney to Melbourne, $170

By applying for the offer (by calling directly), you could potentially get a Jetstar flight for only $90. And as seen in a comprehensive guide, Jetstar is the superior choice when travelling domestically in Australia.

You could also use this deal if you can find the same Jetstar flight for cheaper on a reseller website.

Lastly, as Jetstar operates throughout Southeast Asia it might be worthwhile to see if the deal can apply for international travel.

You can read more about Jetstar’s ‘Price Beat Guarantee’ on their website but below, are the terms and conditions.

The Jetstar flight offered on an eligible third-party website must be:
