United Airlines operates an extensive network of United Clubs and other lounges within the domestic United States. These include hub airports such as Newark (EWR), Chicago (ORD), San Francisco (SFO) and Houston (IAH), as well as at frequently served destinations like Boston (BOS), Las Vegas (LAS), New Orleans (MSY) and Seattle (SEA). However, in addition to airports within the United States, United also has several lounges in its most frequently served destinations internationally. These include London Heathrow (LHR), Hong Kong (HKG), Mexico City (MEX) and Tokyo-Narita (NRT).

London Heathrow (LHR)

London Heathrow is United's most-served transatlantic destination. United serves London-Heathrow from the following airports in the United States: Boston (BOS), Los Angeles (LAX), Denver (DEN), Houston (IAH), San Francisco (SFO), Chicago (ORD), Washington-Dulles (IAD) and Newark (EWR). In total, United will have up to 23 daily departures to London Heathrow, with London Heathrow to Newark taking up 7 daily services.

Due to the large volume of premium passengers traveling from London to the US, United operates its own lounge at Heathrow Airport. Located in Terminal 2 Concourse B opposite Gate B46, the United Club at London Heathrow operates daily from 05:00 to 18:00, allowing travelers to enjoy the lounge's facilities all day round.

Due to the pandemic and stringent entry requirements, United has suspended all services to Hong Kong (HKG) since the beginning of the pandemic. However, United is reportedly planning to resume its San Francisco-Hong Kong route from March 2023 with a twice-daily service. This routing is currently served by Cathay Pacific on a once-daily basis, but Cathay Pacific will apparently increase its offerings to three times daily to serve the large Hong Kong Chinese Diaspora living in San Francisco and the surrounding area. Since no United passenger flights are flying out of HKG, the lounge is currently closed, but it may reopen in March 2023 when flights to San Francisco will begin once again.

Mexico City (MEX)

Mexico City (MEX) is also one of United's busiest international destinations. The United Club at MEX is located airside on the Mezzanine Level in Terminal 1 near Gate H. However, the club only has light snacks on offer and does not have a large, extensive buffet like the United Club at London Heathrow (LHR) Terminal 2. Opening hours at this United Club are from 04:00 to 17:30.

Tokyo-Narita (NRT)

United Airlines has a large presence in Tokyo and flies multiple daily services to both of its international airports, Tokyo-Haneda (HND) and Tokyo-Narita (NRT). In light of Japan's reopening earlier in October 2022, United Airlines expanded its offerings to Tokyo. Flights such as UA 6/7 from Houston (IAH) to Tokyo-Narita (NRT) were increased from 4 times weekly to daily, and other services such as UA 78/79 from Newark (EWR) to Toky-Narita (NRT) increased its capacity through an equipment upgrade from the Boeing 787-9 to the Boeing 777-300ER.

Nevertheless, the lounge still remains closed at the current moment, but as United continues to increase its offerings even more, by serving Tokyo-Narita (NRT) from additional airports, we may see the United Club reopened.
